Sunday Morning

We invite you to join us for VBS Kick-Off on Sunday morning, June 28! During our main service, K3-5th Grade will gather in the Fellowship Center for the first lesson of the week! If you don’t have a church home, we’d love for you to join us!

Our service begins at 10:15am, and K4-5th Grade children will be dismissed following the music. They will be picked up in the Fellowship Center following the service.

K3 will begin their time in the nursery (Children’s Ministry Center), and VBS Volunteers will bring them to the Fellowship Center to join in the fun. Parents will pick up their K3 children from their nursery classroom in the Children’s Ministry Center following the main service!

Schedules

Dinner will open at 5:15pm each night in the Fellowship Center!
Parents/guardians must stay with their child until they are checked in.
Doors will open, and check-in will begin, at 5:35pm.
Elementary VBS (for children who just completed K5–5th Grade)

5:35-5:55 Check-in at the Crosswalk front desk

  • Check in at the main desk (volunteers will be available to assist you)
  • Head downstairs to find your group (group name will be on your child’s name tag)
    • Your child will receive a wristband in their group color to wear through the week
  • Exit through the far stairwell to avoid a traffic jam

6:00-6:35 Opening Celebration + Bible Story
6:35-7:50 Station Rotations (Small Groups, Games, Missions)
7:50-8:10 Closing Session
8:15 Pick-Up in Crosswalk – Please make sure to show your Parent Tag (received at check-in each night)

  • Children will be picked up from their Small Group classes in the Crosswalk (volunteers will be available to assist)
  • Pre-Teen Girls/Silver Group (will dismiss from the main auditorium of the Crosswalk)
Preschool VBS (2 years old – just completed K5)

5:35-5:50 Check-in at the side doors of the Welcome Center
5:50 PreK will take the BFBC bus to the Dock
5:55-8:00 Opening Celebration and Rotations
8:10 Head back to the Welcome Center for Dismissal
8:15 Check-out at the Welcome Center side doors – Please make sure to show your Parent Tag (received at check-in each night)

Offering

Each night, we will be collecting school supplies for the BFBC Back to School Ministry! Volunteers will use the supplies to fill backpacks, which will be distributed to the community in July to set children up for a successful school year!

Please feel free to bring any of the following items: Pencils, Pencil pouches & sharpeners, Crayons/colored pencils, Spiral notebooks, and Scissors!

Preschoolers may bring theirs to the Welcome Center at check-in.

Elementary Children will place theirs on the appropriate side (boy or girl) in front of the stage.

Music

Our Preschoolers will have a music time with Ms. Julie, singing fun songs with motions! Our Elementary Children will be led in worship by our BFBC Student Band! You can find the songs we’ll be singing throughout the week here.

Things to Bring

Next week will be hot! Elementary children will have game time outside. We will have water coolers available, as well as access to water fountains between rotations! However, if your child would like to bring a water bottle, that is perfectly fine!

If your child has a Bible, please encourage them to bring it each night! If you requested a Bible for your child, they will receive that on Night 1!

Please label both of these items!
