Student Ministry

We exist to connect students to Christ.

For 6th-12th Grade Students

We exist to connect students to Christ through Worship, Bible Study, Community, and Missions.

Here’s how we plan to do that:

Step 1: Wednesday Nights @ 6:30pm

Every Wednesday Night our students have the opportunity to connect with Christ through worship, the teaching of God’s word, and age/gender-based small groups. Our goal is that every student would build meaningful relationships with one another, our leaders, and God’s word so that they can experience the transformative power of a relationship with Jesus.

Doors open at 5:45pm for free pizza, games, and a chance to hang out with your church family. The service starts at 6:30pm, and pick-up is at 7:45pm.

Step 2: Sunday Morning Connect Groups @ 9:00am

Sunday Morning Connect Groups are designed to help our students grow in their knowledge and understanding of God’s word. While Wednesday Nights provide an incredible opportunity for community, worship, and bible study, Sunday Morning Connect Groups allow us to spend intentional time diving deeply into God’s word and working through books of the Bible one chapter at a time. Our goal is to see each student’s heart transformed by their love for Jesus, and each student’s mind transformed by their continued knowledge and understanding of who Jesus is.

Doors open at 8:45am for breakfast snacks and community, and aged based small groups start at 9:15am. Home-cooked breakfast is offered on the first Sunday of every month!

Step 3: Missions

We believe that God has given every believer talents and abilities that He wants you to use for His glory. We also believe that it is our job, as the church, to help empower, encourage, and equip you to serve. Every year we offer missions opportunities that allow students to grow in their relationship with Jesus as they serve the Lord on mission in Berea, in North America, and to the ends of the earth.

We have our students host and serve at Vacation Bible School, Children’s Summer Camp, and Kidz Worship each Sunday. This year we’re hosting a Christmas party for the Down Syndrome Association of the Upstate, having an Impact Weekend here in Berea, and serving our missions partners PESCA ministries in Ecuador.
