Student Ministry
“We believe every teenager is on a journey…”
For 6th-12th Grade Students
“We believe every teenager is on a journey, and want to come alongside you, and equip you for that journey by leading you down a path.”
Step 1: Wednesday Nights @ 6:30pm
Something incredible and powerful happens when teenagers gather together to worship Jesus. High energy and action-packed, Wednesday nights provide a place for us to connect with Christ and one another. They are also an awesome time to check out our student ministry or to invite someone to church for the first time. Live band, food, games, giveaways, and time in God’s Word—come see for yourself why we like to say, “Wednesday night is the best night of the week.”
Step 2: Sunday Morning Connect Groups @ 9:00am
Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo activity; we were wired to grow as disciples in the context of community. We need each other, and that’s what Sunday Mornings are all about. We meet in our grades to study God’s Word and to do life together, going deeper in the Word and in relationships. Stick around afterward and join us for Morning Worship.
Step 3: Missions
We believe God wants to use you in some pretty special ways, and we’re not talking about 5 or 10 years from now. We’re talking right here and right now. That’s why we’re serious about training and equipping you to serve others and tell them about Jesus at school, in your neighborhood, and around the world. Each year, we also invite students who have shown signs of growth as a disciple to represent our church and King Jesus on a mission trip to an area where the gospel is not as prevalent.
While we will definitely have fun, the primary purpose of a mission trip is not leisure or tourism. In other words, this is not a vacation, and it’s not about a destination. Instead, a mission trip allows us to learn to sacrifice our own comfort and preferences in order to make much of Jesus, serve others, and share the good news of the coming kingdom. If you’re ready to take this step, see one of our student ministry staff about applying today.
