Parents & Students,
We are so excited for camp this summer. I can’t believe we are only 2 weeks away! I cannot wait to see what God has in store for our students. Thank you for entrusting us with your student for the week. As we gear up for camp, I wanted to give you as many details as possible so you can prepare accordingly.
Camp Address
Ridgecrest Conference Center
1 Ridgecrest Dr.
Black Mountain, NC 28711
Check In and Departure time
Check-in will start at 11:30am on Monday, June 8. We will leave at 12:30pm. Please plan to eat lunch before arriving. Our first meal will be that evening at camp.
We will arrive back at BFBC around 1-2pm on Friday. We will send out a message when we depart from camp.

Packing List
PACK BAGS IN A STANDARD ROLLING BAG OR DUFFLE BAG. DO NOT USE A BLACK BOX.
- Backpack/Drawstring Bag
- Clothing that adheres to the FUGE dress code policy.
- Wear things you are willing to get sweaty in and potentially get dirty. I recommend a change of clothes for the evening (some people like to dress a bit nicer for evening worship, but it is not required)
- The theme for Mega Relay is Camouflage, so plan accordingly (it is not required to wear camo, but many do wear camo).
- Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes for all scheduled camp activities – CROCS DO NOT COUNT.
- I also suggest shoes that you are willing to get wet or dirty.
- Linens for your bed (Twin Sheets, pillow, blanket)
- Towel(s)
- Refillable Water Bottle
- Physical Bible (if you need one, we will get you one)
- Pen/Pencil(s)
- Notebook
- Toiletries – Shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer, etc.
- Shower shoes
- Sunscreen
- Snacks
- Spending money for snacks, camp store, and missions offering if you so desire
- Rain Jacket
- Swimsuit for kayaking at the lake
- A bag for dirty clothes
Technology
Students are permitted to bring cell phones; however, they are responsible for the care and security of their devices. iPads, laptops, and other large electronic devices are not permitted at camp.
Phones may not be used during any scheduled camp activities. Students who do not follow this policy will be required to leave their phones in their dorm rooms during activities. Continued misuse may result in the phone being confiscated until the end of camp.
Behavior
We expect all students to speak and act in a way that honors and glorifies God, while respecting everyone and everything around them. We also expect them to be where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be there. Males are not allowed in female dorm areas, and females are not allowed in male dorm areas.
Pranks, bullying, initiations, tobacco, drugs, alcohol, vapes, knives, and weapons of any kind will all result in immediate dismissal from camp.
If a student is unable or unwilling to meet these expectations, they will first receive a warning. If the behavior continues, parents will be notified. Continued issues may result in parents being asked to come pick up their camper and take them home.
