Christ calls us to share his love with those in need. The Berea First Baptist Church Reaching Center seeks to meet the very practical and pressing needs of families in our community in the spirit of Christ. When the Reaching Center opens each Tuesday, volunteers are prepared to interview families and learn of their needs. The Center then responds by sharing food, clothes, household items, even furniture to help families meet the challenges of difficult times. The Reaching Center also shares our faith with the families they help by donating Bibles, Christian reading materials, and the personal witness of our volunteers. Donations and volunteers are always needed to keep this ministry strong. Call the church office if you would like to offer Christ’s love to families in need. |
The Reaching Center is located in the last building on the side facing Farr's Bridge Road. It is the last building before the cemetery. The Reaching Center is only open for short periods of time as it is a volunteer operated ministry.
