| Our church remembered the anniversary of the September 11 attacks upon our nation by honoring the public servants who work so courageously to keep our community safe. More than forty fire fighters, law enforcement officers, and emergency response workers associated with our church were honored. Highlights of the service included a statement of appreciation from Susan Kay, a member of our church recently rescued from an automobile accident, a prayer by Dr. Horace Benjamin, Chaplain Emeritus of the Berea Fire Department, and a moment of silence led by retired Greenville County Sheriff Johnny Mack Brown. |
