Dr. Marshall E. Sargent joined our ministry team in May 2001 as Associate in Pastoral Ministries.  Dr. Sargent ministers to our homebound and shut-in members, visits members in the hospital, and assists in worship leadership and pastoral counseling.

  A native of Pelzer, SC, Dr. Sargent is a graduate of Anderson and Erskine Colleges, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Erskine Theological Seminary.  Dr. Sargent pastored churches in North and South Carolina, retiring from the Eastlan Baptist Church in Greenville after eighteen years as Senior Pastor. 

Marshall and his wife, Gloria, are parents of a son, Matt.
