Dr. Ronald D. Vaughan has served as senior pastor of Berea First Baptist Church since 1999. Born and raised in Greenville, Dr. Vaughan is a graduate of Furman University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also served as a chaplain intern in clinical pastoral education at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.  Before coming to Berea, Dr. Vaughan pastored churches in North and South Carolina.

Dr. Vaughan and his wife, Linda, are the parents of three children, Elizabeth, a Special Education teacher in Greenwood, Joshua, a freshman at Clemson University, and Andrew, a seventh grader at Northwest Middle.
