Dr. Ronald D. Vaughan has
served as senior pastor of Berea First Baptist Church since 1999. Born and
raised in Greenville, "Dee," as most people call him, is a graduate of
Furman University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also
served as chaplain resident in clinical pastoral education at Spartanburg
Regional Medical Center. Before coming to Berea, Dr. Vaughan pastored
churches in North and South Carolina. He writes Bible study materials for
Lifeway Christian Resources and has taught classes at North Greenville
University and Anderson University.
Dr. Vaughan and his wife, Linda, are the parents of three children,
Elizabeth, a Special Education teacher in Greenwood, Joshua, a recent
graduate of Clemson University, and Andrew, a junior at Travelers Rest High
School.
